James Loewen is the creative force behind Fathom Design. He grew up in various places, from the Congo to California. After a circuitous route through science and other fascinations, he discovered his love for beauty and invention. He followed the muse to Milan's Istituto Europeo di Design, where he studied with Andries Van Onck. James now lives in Venice California.
